CJYM & CFYM AM On Air Crew

I was born and raised in Saskatoon.  I'm 30 years old,  my hobbies include playing guitar, singing, writing songs, listening to music, watching movies and playing video games.  I've been engaged for a year and half.  This is my first job in what  I hope is a long career in broadcasting.

Jay Porter

I'm from Medicine Hat, Alberta, but was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  It is good to be back in Saskatchewan.  I studied broadcasting in Saskatoon at the Western Academy of Broadcastng School.  I recently spent my internship in Cold Lake, Alberta, working at K-Rock.  I am very excited to be with Classic Hits and can't wait to meet lots of new people!

I am a huge wrestling nerd and was actually a professional wrestler in Lethbridge, Alberta for two years, under the name "Jesse Durst". I love watching all sports.  My favorite teams are the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Red Sox, San Diego Chargers and of course.....Saskatchewan Rough Riders!!

Well, what can I say? I grew up in the small town of Glendon (home of the world's largest pyrogy) and pursued my broadcasting education in Calgary with Mount Royal University. I spent a couple of years honing my television skills in Medicine Hat and a year in Edmonton. It was then that my luck brought me to Rosetown.

I grew up listening to so much of this music with my Dad, dancing around the kitchen to the Beatles while we were suppose to be doing the dishes! I am very excited to be sharing these songs with all of you, and even more excited to be doing it in Saskatchewan! But before you all get too excited, I do have a small confession...I will only cheer for the Riders if they aren't playing the Eskimos. You really can't expect anything less! I am an Alberta girl after all!

Hello! My name is Janine and if you asked me 6 months ago, I would have never quessed I would wind up in Rosetown Saskatchewan.  I am originally from Calgary where I took Broadcasting at Mount Royal University. After I graduated I chased my dreams all the way to Vancouver, but ended up leaving empty handed.  However, I am excited to live in a small town and experience all the shenanigans that come along with the trade.  I love photography, food and country music.  I'm on the fence about cheering for the Rough Riders, but we shall see!  I can't wait to see where Classic Hits takes me!

MIX 104.9 FM On-Air Crew

I was born and raised in the small town of Churchbridge, Sk., the biggest thing to come out of the town since the world's largest loonie.  I took my broadcasting training at the Western Academy of Broadcasting in Saskatoon, finishing up in 2009.  I started off my radio career at Classic Hits Radio before turning to the dark side and hitting up the FM station, Mix 104!  Now the voice that wakes you up each and every morning with the Mix Morning Show.

I have always loved anything and everything to do with music; who needs to buy groceries when there are concert tickets to purchase?!?  My favorite bands include Blind Melon, Foo Fighters and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to name a few.  If my major is in music, my minor is in sports.  If I am not taking in concerts, I'll be found at the rink, the diamonds or the football field.  My favorite teams being the Washington Capitals, Minnesota Twins, Edmonton Eskimo's (yes I know where I am from!) and of course the Klippers!

Kris Hussey

I was born and raised in Edmonton.  After high school I was accepted into NAIT's radio program.  I finished the program in April of 2010 and started searching for my first radio gig!  I was hired at Mix 104!  I now do the morning show, news and sports, co-hosting with the man himself Kris Hussey.  I also host the afternoon show from 12-5 every week day.

I am in my second season of play-by-play, broadcasting for the Kindersley Klippers.  Play-by-play has become my passion.  For all Klippers information you can check out my blog at www.ullsyslockertalk.blogspot.com

My hobbies include, playing and watching sports, pumping iron at the gym and hanging out with friends.  My favorite teams are the Edmonton Oilers, Cincinnati Bengals, Edmonton Eskimos the Portland Trail Blazers.  Follow me on twitter @brendenullrich

I grew up in Marengo, Saskatchewan, 40 km west of Kindersley.  I moved all over after high school to places like Medicine Hat and Lethbridge, but kept getting drawn back home.  I DJ'ed at a Kindersley business for 3 years before moving to Oyen to make BIG MONEY working in the patch.  The gypsy spirit ignited me again and I moved to Saskatoon in 2005.  After 5 years working in the Steel Yards and Pet Stores, it was time to pursue a career.  Valdictorian of my high school class and a loudmouth in general, broadcasting was an obvious choice.  I attended the Western Academy of Broadcasting in Saskatoon from February to June 2011.  Here I am in West Central Saskatchewan, keeping you informed and entertained.  You can take the boy out of West Central Saskatchewan, but you can't take the West-Central Saskatchewan out of the boy!
